I had 5 nuns staring me down in the Avalon airport in my hot pink tights. Before this I was told by the train station "police" at Southern Cross that I wasn't allowed to take a nap on the bench while waiting for the shuttle. I was one of two people in the station. Seinfeld moment.

I saw the Opera House and climbed the bridge.

I partied until 5am

A big group of scottish people, one decked in kilt were on my dinner cruise.

Then I flew to Mel.

The next day my flight to Auckland was delayed 3+ hrs, they gave us $15 for food, and I cried because the baggage place where I was going to lock up my 6 months of stuff would be closed by the time we arrived and I would have no place to put it. They gave me $50 to spend at duty free.

My bags are locked up, they stayed open later.


I'm in Queenstown now. It is probably the most beautiful town I have ever seen. I want to move here when I'm 65.

I went on a Gondola up the mountain side and did a "luge" ride down. I also saw the Kiwi. They are HUGE.

Tomorrow. Milford Sound, then flight to AUK then bus to Waitomo, 100 m abseil Lost World & Caving, glowworm grotto, then bus to Rotorua for Wai-O Tapu Reserve. THEN!! Spa at Hells Gate, eeeeeeeee. =).


New Zealand rules. I'm so comming back for a ski trip and a fjiord hiking trip and hot water beach.
