2 days until Paris with my Dad for Spring Break because I'm a lot cooler than all those people who go to Cancun with their friends and get wasted.
YAY. First time going there, I'm excited because I studied honors french, 4 years in high school, which was 5 years ago, but still I'll get to see some places we studied and I am vaguely remembering how to speak french, (I used to know how to read, write and speak 12 tenses of it ='( ).
But first a paper for my Gender & Music Historical Traditions 4 class on 19th century women composers and what elements changed their repertoire in terms of access to education and training, ability to perform publicly/private, genres composed in.
ick. because we were given this research paper as a Midterm Test with only two days to research and write it along with listening to a lament and analyzing that in a one page paper.
IF ANYONE EVER TELLS ME I DON'T UNDERSTAND MUSIC BECAUSE I'M A MUSIC INDUSTRY MAJOR AND NOT A PERFORMER AGAIN, I might just have to slap them in the face.
But anyways. Paris for a week! then back here to Boston. boo.
Hopefully Boston doesn't get me sick or give me a muscle spasm again. In the past two months I've been here I've been sick with a virus for an entire month, got better, and then had a muscle spasm in my lower back for a week. THIS IS WHAT BOSTON DOES TO A PERSON.
Well.. its not a horrible city, its just not Melbourne where most of my friends happen to live and a boy I would have dated.
In other news, my friend Ginger that I interned with at SC is coming to NYC this summer to intern at Billboard where I interned at last semester, which is awesome because I'll get to see her again and have an excuse to go to New York.
Au revoir!
